Some updated plans for this year! Safety first, the daytime activities and fireworks show have been cancelled due to the heat forecast. Thanks to all who worked to put together another great show, and there will be more celebrations in the sky later this year. We appreciate everybody pivoting for this weekend!
Because our backyard becomes completely shaded by 7PM, we are going to begin some of our planned activities then. Bring your own chair and refillable water bottle, and set up to see the Hard To Tell Band play by the river from 7-9PM! Drinks and food will be sold starting at 7PM. The clubhouse will be open to all, with AC and restrooms there. After dark, DJs visiting from DC and NYC will continue the party with music and light shows.
Cheers to America on her 250th birthday, and if you’d like to join the community celebration come on down to the birthday party!
*Note the road and bridge will no longer be closing on Saturday. Parking will be available at the marina and the field across the bridge. Rivah Vineyards is also hosting activities on the 4th, and the Kinsale Market will be open with food, drinks & strong AC throughout the day!
Getting Here
Kinsale is a historic port town in Westmoreland County, right off the Potomac River. You can reach us by river or road on the 4th.
If coming by boat, please reserve a spot at The Slips for the day by emailing crew@the-slips.com or filling out the form below. Slips are $2/FT and $5 for electricity.
